Data Deletion

To request deletion of your personal data, email us at privacy@campushost.in with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Please include:

• Your full name;
• The phone number and/or email address associated with the data;
• The name of the school you are associated with, if known;
• A brief description of what you would like deleted.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request to protect against unauthorised deletion.

A deletion request can cover personal data such as your name, contact details, WhatsApp phone number, message history we hold, and related records, subject to the exceptions below.

If you are a parent or guardian who receives Campushost notifications over WhatsApp and want to stop and be removed:

• Reply STOP to any WhatsApp message from us to opt out of further messages;
• Email privacy@campushost.in to request deletion of your phone number and message data from our systems.

Because your school controls the records it maintains, you may also ask your school to remove your contact details.

Schools using Campushost can request deletion of their account and associated Customer Data by contacting their account manager or emailing privacy@campushost.in. Note that deleting an account removes access to the platform and its data; some records may be retained where required by law as described below.

We aim to acknowledge deletion requests promptly and to complete verified requests within 30 days. If we need more time or additional information, we will let you know.

We may retain certain data after a deletion request where necessary to comply with legal, tax, or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our agreements. Such data is kept only for as long as required and is then deleted or irreversibly anonymised. See our Privacy Policy for more on retention.
